She’ll be reading from her debut, award-winning poetry collection, The Multitude. What’s more, visual artist Gala Bent (whose work Flowering Fossil Bed serves as the cover for The Multitude) will be present with several of her pieces installed in the reading space.
Ross Gay has called The Multitude “at turns quirky, mysterious, weird, grave, and full of wonder. [It] will try every way it can—witches, video games, St. Augustine, elegies, doo lang doo lang doo lang—to convey to its reader, you, how strange and sorrowful and sweet this world is….”
